8.  CONDOS- DO A QUICK INSPECTION BEFORE MAKING AN OFFER

    Look over the complex to see if there are obvious needed repairs.  The major items will be the roof, siding, parking lot, and decks.  If these ready for replacement or substantial repairs, it is important to check to see that appropriate funds have been set aside to pay for those items.  Otherwise, there most probably will be an increase in homeowner dues coming up soon.

    Talk to neighbors.  Ask them what the noise situation is like both to the side and up above the unit you are interested in if it isn't a top unit.
